Hole 4 - Jura

Overview

The shortest hole on the course is by no means the easiest. Take a moment to observe the view of Machrihanish Bay visible from the back tee, while you consider club choice. Two cavernous bunkers will swallow anything that comes up short. Two further bunkers sit to the right of the green.

The table-top green can be difficult to hold. A tee shot carried too deep into the green will fall down a run-off at the back. The green is small and relatively flat, so any shot that finds the putting surface will be followed by a good chance for birdie.
