Hole 14 - Castlehill

Overview

The stroke one 14th hole kicks off the turn for home. From the back tee box, the drive is played at a cross-angle to the line of the hole. The tee shot continues a theme of visually deceptive and intimidating drives. As you reach the fairway, a wider playing area than appeared from the tee, is revealed. The fairway features a number of hollow collection areas, the largest of which, distinctly resembles a bathtub.

Two good shots are required to reach the green. Many will come up short, leaving a pitch for the third. The green is long and wide, banking off a dune to the right, with two bunkers to the left and a sharp drop-off into a fold short-right.
