Dunvalanree is a superb location to explore the history and wildlifeof the Mull of Kintyre, the birthplace of the nation. The most popular pastime amongst visitors to Dunvalanree is walking. Fortunately as there are so many choices, from Carradale Bay to the wind farm, walkers are likely to find it very quiet, and Dunvalanree has a series of walks based at Port Righ.

The Bedrooms

Dunvalanree was operated as a traditional West Coast Board Residence until Alan and Alyson arrived in 1998 and installed ensuite bathrooms for the letting rooms. Maintained to a high standard all en-suite rooms have a colour TV and an extensive fair trade hospitality tray including fresh milk for tea or coffee.

Each room also has binoculars (for spotting wildlife and golfers) as well a guest folder that we have prepared ourselves detailing all the different things to do during your visit at Dunvalanree.
