A warm welcome awaits you at the Mull of Kintyre. Craigard House Hotel occupies an imposing position overlooking Campbeltown Loch (already two famous songs – and this is only the first paragraph!).

An 1882 Victorian mansion in the Italianate style, with an interesting varied history, fine architecture and original features, it was converted eleven years ago into a very cosy and bijou hotel, with a welcoming ambience and prime, but tranquil, position on the Lochside – only ten minutes from the first tee. The Craigard House Hotel offers a friendly and informal stay, in fourteen comfortable and well-appointed rooms – many with glorious sea views.

Each of Craigard's bedrooms is named after places of interest in the locality. Most of the rooms have stunning views over Campbeltown Loch – with our South-facing location offering panoramic vistas of the sunrise and sunset. There is a choice of double, twin, triple or single rooms.

Each bedroom is well-appointed, comprising:

Wireless internet access is freely available, and there is also a dedicated PC and printer for guest use. Extensive private car parking, disabled access and ground floor accommodation are also available, as is an attractive patio area with seating, in the grounds overlooking the busy sea loch.

The Lochside Restaurant, with its stunning views over Campbeltown Loch, will delight you with its excellent food - lovingly prepared by local celebrity Chef, Joanne Baird, and her team. Choose from freshly caught shellfish and seafood; locally farmed meat, produce or game – while individual diets can also be catered for. Each day brings new 'specials', depending on what the fishermen leave at our door! The extensive fine wine list, Arran & Loch Fyne beers, and a selection of Malt whiskies, including some unusual Springbanks, will help to round off the meal...and, as an apéritif, how about a Martini, up, with an olive!

Residents of Craigard House Hotel benefit from a 10% discount of Green Fees at Machrihanish GC. We also offer a 'one stop shop' to help with local transport, transfers or car hire; golf tee times and any other local arrangements – such as a Springbank Distillery visit.
